Boat Licence (8am - 3pm); NOW discounted to $125 per person
Our Boat Licence course consists of theory and practical. Theory is conducted in the classroom, and takes a minimum of four hours – all designed for the beginner.
The practical session is conducted on our training vessels Whopper Stopper and Whopper Stopper Too (both 6 metre Makocraft powered by 140HP Suzuki 4 Stroke outboard motors). Wear what you would normally wear boating (in cooler months a hoodie is advisable).
Don’t forget to complete our 26 question “Pre-Assessment” at home ahead of time to decrease the amount of time you spend in the classroom, and get out on the water quicker! All the information to answer the questions is provided in our “Boat Assessment Information Booklet”. At the end of your assessments you MUST take your Competency to Queensland Transport to be LICENSED within 6 months of date of issue.
