Boat Licence $150
for 2 or more attendees - $140 per person
Our Boat Licence course consists of theory and practical – all designed for the beginner.
The practical sessions are conducted on training vessels "Whopper Stopper" and "Whopper Stopper Too" (both 6 metre Makocraft powered by 140HP Suzuki 4 Stroke outboard motors).
Wear what you would normally wear boating (in cooler months a hoodie is advisable).
OPTION 1 - ONLINE LEARNING
Spend a few hours completing the theory component online at home, in your own time, at your own pace (see our link online learning) (this replaces time spent in the classroom). You will need to REGISTER, create a PASSWORD, select "BOAT ONLY" from our COURSE SELECTION page, watch the videos and complete the theory questions. Then simply make a booking with us for your theory exam and practical on-water training & assessments. (Our ONLINE LEARNING course works best using GOOGLE "CHROME" as your Web Browser".)

OPTION 2 - FACE TO FACE LEARNING plus "Pre-Assessment" short study at home
Spend an hour at home completing our "Pre-Assessment" (see below) and bring it with you to your course. The "Pre-Assessment" is designed for our Clients to gain some underpinning knowledge prior to training.
Our FACE-TO-FACE option starts at 8am in the classroom with your Trainer for the theory component, theory exam, and then practical on-water training & assessments, finishing at approximately 2pm.

At the end of your assessments and to be LICENSED, you MUST submit your "Competency" Certificate to Queensland Transport (within 6 months of date of issue).
